Hi SCjason,Welcome to the Healing Well Wrapped Club! I've never heard of anyone losing their gag reflux from a Nissen surgery. It'll be interesting to see if it's a long term issue, or returns with time. I would think your surgeon would be the best source on the topic. I'm sure the gag reflux has a good purpose, but honestly, without it all those tests (manometry, endoscopy, etc.) would be a lot easier to take!
