Offically Diagnosed - Nexium Questions

Hi All. I have literally been chug-a-lugging Pepto Bismol for over a year now. I finally gave in and went to my doctor yesterday (I am uninsured) and he gave me a month's samples of Nexium. It is 40 mg and he said to take it in the morning on an empty stomach.

Has anyone else taken this? What side effects if any have you experienced? How has it worked for you?

Just curious.

I have taken 40mg Nexium for years and it worked very well for me with no side effects except for feeling a little tired at times. Other than that it is one of the few that work well for me.

I took Nexium for 10 years and it was a wonder drug for me until I went for surgery. I don't recall any side effects - maybe little headache. You need to try it and if it bothers you too much you can try different drug. I think Nexium is one of the best though.
