GERD or gallbladder?

I'm a little bit confused at the moment regarding my symptoms. I have been unofficially diagnosed by doctors with acid reflux (had no endoscopy) due to symptoms originally but due to a recent episode (and suspicions on my part) I'm about to have an ultrasound on my gallbladder area (at some point in the near future).

I'm curious to know whether my symptoms are common with GERD/acid reflux or if it seems more likely to be the gallbladder.

I usually get severe burning/pain type feeling in my solar plexus going left and right around both of the lower parts of my rib cage, especially hurts to press down upon (very sore/painful) and the sternum etc. I usually get burping (though not tons) but sometimes do get a acidic feeling in the throat. I also get pain radiating through to the shoulder blades and it hurts to breathe sometimes (when flaring up badly). I feel bloated after meals anyway. Are these GERD symptoms? I'm on a PPI currently (lansoprazole) which my dr is upping to 30mg for the time being to see if symptoms will lessen.

The other day though I had a terrible vomiting attack (continuously vomiting bile after all my stomach had emptied) and my stomachs still a bit funny but that may or may not be related since I'm suffering diarrhea ATM (but then I do get IBS just not normally that bad). This sounds more along the lines of gallbladder (or could have been a virus) but I thought I'd ask the opinions of those who have GERD.
