In March my gerd got so bad that I couldn't keep anything down, even water would make me vomit despite the medicine. After doctors here didn't do anything but keep pushing pills at me, I got so weak that I had to go on short term disability and then I decided to go home in Romania to get treatment. The doctors there did all my medicine through IV for 10 days, and my vomiting stopped, so after that I was ok taking medicine by mouth. For the past week I started feeling again like water is coming up, despite my medicine and I started getting nauseous again and needing the reglan on top of dexilant, carafate, zantac, tums and gaviscon. I'm still nauseous despite all the medicine and I started to vomit again. So I went again to doctors here and asked them to give me the medicine through IV and I explained them that it is the only way that it woks when I get bad, and they don't want to do it, saying that this is not how medicine is done in the USA. That you have be bleeding or dieing to do the IV treatment. So far no doctor wants to give me the medicine through a iv and I don't know what to do, to convince them that is the only way it works. They make me feel crazy. I don't want to get weak again an not able to work, I need my insurance, and I can not get on ST disability again. Can I go to the ER to get them? will they do it there or just sent me home? Can you please advice, are there any better doctors, that you know in the northen Virginia area. I live in Leesburg, VA.
