Hi
I had hiatal hernia repair and Tiff surgery almost 3 weeks ago. I still have a lot of abdominal pain constantly. Does anyone know if this is normal?

You're still in recovery phase it may still be because of this.

How big was your hh? My surgeon said if it's bigger than 2cm your stomach could pull through with the TIFF.

I don't know exactly how big it was but my surgeon said it was pretty big He did the HH repaid laproscopically. He did the Tiff separately. I do not know which procedure is responsible for this pain. I was wondering if this pain was normal because I was not expecting it.

How much time between the two? Were they done on the same day?

If so it's probably from both of them. Each one is affecting the other.

Make sure to follow the special diet and limit lifting objects heavier than a gallon of milk.
