Have any of you had really persistent tendonitis before? In addition to severe GERD (barely controlled by 40mg of Nexium 2x / day), I've started having really bad tendonitis across both my shoulders for coming up on two weeks. And I can't figure out what might be causing it!
Is it possible my PPI's are causing a Magnesium, Vitamin D / E, deficiency that's contributing to the severity of it? Have any of you run into this problem?
Up until it started, I had been doing some moderate exercises (walking, cycling, and occasional pushups, situps, and pullups), but it just doesn't seem to be related to those. It started overnight with no soreness whatsoever, to BAM, bad tendonitis such that I'm barely functional.
At this point I haven't been exercising at all, taking lots of ibuprofen, doing some rehab exercises and stretching. Nothing seems to put a dent in it.
Anyways, just curious if any of you might know anything... Sometimes I feel like my whole darn body is breaking down! Getting old sucks! ;)
Any suggestions or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated! I'm concerned my PPI's are causing this!
Thanks!
