 Hello All ~

My surgery is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.  I'm excited to finally have it done, but I'm a little nervous!  I'll be letting you know how I do.

Looking forward to hearing how you do. I will be having my surgery on 12/4. LOoking forward to having it over. Wishing you well. Please post your experiences.

I am 6 days post op and everything went well! No signs of reflux either! It was a little hard getting around at first, but now I'm doing fine. I only ended up having to take about 4 percoset since I've been home and no other pain meds. The day after surgey and a day or 2 after that I iced my wounds which helped. I get bloated and gassy after eating and drinking, I just have to make sure and stay sitting up with no recline for about 30 minutes after. So far I'm glad I had it done! My biggest issue now is my arms,yes my arms. I think I usedmy arms too much while trying to get comfy and get up and down and so on, so now I've been icing those which helps.
If anyone has any specific questions about the surger please feel free to ask.

Tip on getting up and down:
Keep back straight during the whole move
Slide to edge of chair
hold stomach with both hands
rise using only your legs muscles
(Remember keep back straight whole time)
It will take stress off stomach, back, and arms
