So I have a question for you... I asked my GP at my last physical and he said, "Interesting." Thanks for the insight, I told him...
Which side are you supposed to lay on to alleviate reflux? I've been told to sleep on my left side, but that always led to this weird, behind the sternum "burp" that recurs with every breath. This was even with Protonix. I had to turn to lay on my right side. The "burping" immediately ceased, but I was always concerned that I might have been sleeping thru reflux. Probably not in retrospect.
Anyway, since starting the OoO and the Vitamin C and L-lysine for heart health, I can lay on my left side w/o that annoying behind the sternum, breathing "burp." I've slept better in the last month than I have in 8 years. Some of the lack of sleep is due to 3 kids, but I definitely haven't slept so good in a few years.
Have either of you ever had this bizarre "burp?" It seems opposite to conventional wisdom about which side to sleep on...
