Is LPR treatment different than Acid Reflux treatment?

I was taking Dexilant 60mg for my acid reflux for the last 2 months.  I did the Kaufman diet for quite a few weeks.  The heartburn went away but now I am left with a burning sensation in my throat.  I can eat fine, it's after I drink my water (which I always wait until after I've finished eating) that I get the throat burning.  This happens with every meal regardless of what I eat.  Could this be LPR?  I started taking Aciphex this morning to see if a change in meds would help.  Does anyone know if there are different treatment plans for Acid Reflux v. LPR?  I went to an ENT in December and he only saw some mild irritation when he scoped my throat.  I am going in for an endoscopy March 1st.  Thanks for any information. 

As far as I know, the treatment is the same for both GERD and LPR. I have heard that for LPR some people need a double dose of the PPI medication.
