Three months after partial wrap

As long as the surgeon says there's nothing wrong, there probably isn't. Depending on how much surgery you needed, it can easily take longer than 3 months to recover. Some things will always be a little different too. I had a 4 1/2 hour surgery and took more like a year to feel I was better. Fatigue is one of the last things to go away for me. Is your hemoglobin, hematocrit, iron level back to normal? Did you have a hernia repair?

Did you have any food intolerances before the surgery? I don't tolerate hard meats either, but I had food triggers before the surgery. My esophagus doesn't like lots of things, especially pork (because of hard texture and also natural sulfites). I don't get reflux anymore but I still get other symptoms like tachycardia.

I think you would have symptoms if you had internal bleeding. They check pretty thoroughly for that during and after the operation. You probably had x-rays and a barium swallow the day after. There are a lot of blood vessels that get cut to make the wrap, but the big ones get surgical clips and the small ones are cauterized. I don't think a wrap, by itself, could cause bleeding. But to be sure I would ask the doctor. It's another reason to get a hematocrit check. They can usually do that right in an office.

I get sharp pains from gas. The large intestine crosses the abdomen right under the stomach and gas can feel like stomach pain. I'm a few years out now and feel pretty good. That first year was worrisome though.
