Possible GERD?

My symptoms:

Sensation of sputum in back of throat, impossible to clear with coughing
Sensation of pressure in my mid/upper back on the left side below the shoulder blade, which becomes a stronger/painful sensation during deep inhalation (although breathing is otherwise unaffected)
Difficulty swallowing, in that I feel the need to concentrate while swallowing regardless of whether or not I'm eating/drinking, associated the aforementioned sensation of un-clearable sputum in my throat.

about me: 18 YOA
Healthy Weight
No diagnosed respiratory/gastrointestinal disorders (however I have never been tested for any such
disorders)
Smoker of approximately 6 - 12 cigarettes daily

Currently Prescribed: Vyvanse (Lisdexamfetamine) for ADD taken orally once daily

What I'm looking to ascertain: Are these symptoms consistant with GERD?

Is this consistant with simple GERD or am I experiencing complications such as
aspiration pneumonia or bronchospasm due to undetected pulmonary aspiration,
etc?

Can this be treated with simple off-the-shelf antacids ("Tums" etc?)
