I am 5 weeks post NF op. For the last 3 nights, I have started hurting pretty badily around the wrap site & the pain is through my back & chest. I am trying not to take the narcotic pain killer that the surgeon gave me. Tylenol does nothing for the pain. I have had to drink a 1/2 cup of very warm water & then the pain starts to subside. Anyone else experience anything like this?

Hi Josie,

That sounds like esophageal spasms. I didn't have them, but some people do. I suggest you call your surgeon and report them. He/she may have something to suggest that can help. Let me know what you find out and how it all turns out.
