Hi Nissen Fundo,Glad you've joined the 
Wrapped Club! Ouch! The NG tube experience must have been very uncomfortable. I didn't have one (at least not after I woke up)...I knew it was possible, but was pleasantly surprised when I woke up in the recovery room without one.

Don't be surprised if your swallowing gets worse before it gets better. The wrap will become increasingly more swollen over the next two weeks, with peak swelling on or about 14 days. After that the swelling gradually decreases and you'll become more comfortable.
