I've ordered gaviscon advance from the UK and Canada and am going to start using it to see if it helps my throat symptoms. Unfortunately it will not arrive (I live in california) until two to four weeks. Has anyone else tried it and found relief?

I take it every night before bed. I alternate between the american one and the advance because it is expensive to get it since it is not sold in the USA.
