Gerd related anal bleeding

When I eat spicy food, I have burning sensation at my anal region. Also there is very little quantity of blood, when I pass stools.

I am worried whether there is internal bleeding because of gerd. Does anyone on this forum ever went through these issues

I had bleeding in my stool for couple of wks and it went away by itself. i was bright in color. it could have been my hemorrhoids which i had before but this time around i don't think it was that.

When I was able to eat spicy foods, I would have itching in anal region. Took me awhile to make the connection though. Also, I never had blood in my stools, so that's probably something you should at least talk to a doctor about. That just seems odd to me.

If it's bright red it is most likely hemorrhoids. If it is dark it could be further up. If it continues I would talk with a GI.
