3 mo post Nissan, big issues

I had a Nissan Fundoplication on April 30th, now for the past week, I am having severe heartburn, constant loose stools, constant passing gas, and constant burping. I have been able to burp since the day of surgery. Any suggestions?

hi,gtnbr, sorry to hear your having problems after your nissen,i can sympathise with you as as after a few months of my nissen I had the same problems.Its been a year and a half from the surgery and I have to say it was a failure as im back on meds for reflux.
Did you have a full 360 wrap ? Barry

i do not know what he did. I have an HMO, and I sure did not get anything explained very well. He told me, when I asked what to expect, is that I would have a reduction in acid reflux. That was all he said.

What is your diet consisting of? Have you added anything new lately?

Have you contacted your surgeon about this?

It sounds like something has irritated your stomach to me.
