all these problems and noone knows anything plz help

It all started a year and a half ago. I couldn't swallow solids or my saliva. Dr recoomended I don't eat solids until all the tests are done.
I did the following tests
Blood work
Endoscope
Barium
Modified barium
Mri
Ctscan
Emg
Neck ultra sound
Stomach ultra sound

All came back clear at that time.

Since then my meals are very small and I have to gargle food with water and swooosh it around my mouth until I can swallow it.
I have lost 40 pounds.
Always tired and feel malnutritioned.

Lately the last two mnths I have had pain in the neck area along side and behind adams apple area, pain behind left rib area, and pain accross my chest mostly right side and a weird burn at bottom of esophogous right where the neck starts in the front.

I go back to dr and tell him(same dr who ordered above tests and he said there is nothing wrong with me and I am a burden on tax payers money. I wanted to smack him so bad.

Now I have gone to a new dr and she ordered blood work which came in excellent and now she had me do a breath test.

I was telling my wife that I am thinking of ordering and paying cash for all above tests again. I know something is wrong I just need to know what's going on.

I'm canadian and live in calgary alberta.

Any ideas anyone please help.

You should try to get an appointment with and ENT specialist, and also see if you can get a PH acid test done.

I know how you feel.  I have so many problems i dont know where to start but my throat is my biggest problem physically and mentally.   I was having right upper quadrant pain for quite some time after 2 very long trips.  I went to our local hospital and they were going to remove my gallbladder based on symptoms alone which i thought was crazy, so i requested a endoscopy.   Little did i know they also were going to clip a Bravo capsule to my esophagus.  I tried to get out of it, but i wasnt familar with medical procedures since ive never had one and they told me i had to have it done that it was important.

I tried to get out of it up until the last moment but they told me i couldnt because i signed the consent form.  Thats when my life changed forever.  Six days into the probe it hurt so bad i went to the ER and they did a cat scan.  The next day i lost my voice, woke up with a lump in the throat, and have had nothing but problems for 5 months since.  Ive been diagnosed with LPR and or irritable larynx syndrome.  My current problem is, the ativan they gave me to help with the globus sensation doesnt work like it once did and now i swallow so much that my esophagus is sore.  I dont know if its wearing out or what.   Plus, the ativan is making me sick and depressed along with the constant throat pain and lump.   Not sure how much more i can take. 

All the medicine they give me just makes me sicker.

I'm so sorry to hear of your problems. Has it been suggested to you to see a speech therapist at all to help with your swallowing problems? A dual impedance test or RESTECH airways probe test will be able to diagnose if you are having "normal reflux" or "airway reflux- LPR" Sometimes with airway reflux that can cause swallowing difficulties - mine came out of the blue myself!
Have they tried you on PPI's or Gaviscon to see if that helps? And have your consultants not suggested a way forward for you?

Disregard the question about where you live just re-read your post.

Im pretty much in some sort of misery everyday. My newest misery is the dry swallowing that started in the middle of the night last week. It has gotten so bad that im afraid my esophagus will wear out and then not work at all. I have a swollen voicebox which the ativan helped relieve so either the ativan has stopped working, or it could be the ativan itself causing the problem. This is the world i have been living in. Lump in the throat, pain in the voicebox, no voice, and drowning in excess mucus. I have to take Benadryl all day and ativan which are both hard on my already weak liver.

I have doctors appointments lined up as far as the eye can see. The scary part is thinking that the throat may never heal, or that is heals and i cant get off the ativan. So many things to look forward to..

Thats a good way to put it. If i had seen a natural doctor to begin with i would not have the throat problem. I think the long trips i was making the last 4 years slowed my bowells down and gave me pancreatitis. If i had just taken a gentle natural laxative and added more salads to my diet and stopped more often on my trips, i would not be in this mess.

Did they tell you what causes the muscle disorder they diagnosed you with?? You say you lost 40 pounds. Are you under weight now?? Ive lost 25 pounds and can barely stay at 150. Im 5' 10"

You had more spare weight than i did. I was always around 175. I hope you get it figured out and that the natural doctor has some ideas. Im still trying to get myself straightned out from the twice a day acid blocker nigthmare. My ENT is trying hard to help, but i cant handle the meds and they just made me sicker.
