Feeling of food stuck in your chest.

Does this ever happen to any of you? A slight feeling of food stuck in your chest and then you drink water and it goes away?

God i'm so afraid i have esophigal cancer. I just need to know if people with gerd expierence this too.

I was having heart burn and chest pain for awhile but then it went away so i thought i was in the clear now im back to being insanely paranoid again. Ugh I'm only 21 and a huge hypochondriac but it freaks me out when all of my symptoms align with the symptoms of Esophigal cancer page.

Looking for some support, thanks in advance.

First off, It is very unlikely at your age with the symptoms you have said that you have esophageal cancer.

Stay away from Dr. Google! It doesn't do you any good, especially with your medical anxiety.

Yes your symptoms are quite common for GERD. If you haven't seen a GI doctor yet, Please do so. They will be able to tell you exactly what is going on and will also be able to treat it.
