I won't go into my whole history again since I've posted it previously, but long story short, I have acid reflux that is controlled with Zantac and the occasional TUMS or Titralac (like TUMS). The one thing I missed eating was chicken wings. My husband and I would go out once a week for wings and after I was diagnosed with reflux, I tried eating wings and an hour later had severe heartburn for the next 2 days. A waitress suggested I get wings but with the sauce on the side. I did and it worked! I was able to eat chicken wings and not get heartburn. Even though they are fried, it didn't seem to bother me. I got the sauce on the side and poured a little of it into the blue cheese that I got with the celery. When I ate the wings, I dipped them in the blue cheese. I'm not a big eater so I only eat 7 or so wings usually. I drank water with dinner and water afterwards. I did take a Zantac right before I ate too instead of waiting til I went to bed. Happy I can enjoy my wings again, even though they aren't dripping in sauce!
