Just out of curiosity, in an effort to see if I am not alone here, has anyone experienced breathing issues without any coughing, wheezing, or crackling from lungs?
I have many silent reflux symptoms and have posted here before on how I am caught in a cycle of anxiety/reflux that feeds itself. The biggest issue for 4 months straight has been this odd sensation that my inhale/exhale are weak or limited. It keeps me up sometimes and has created a couple real panic attacks when I felt I wasn't getting oxygen in/out properly. I do have mucus that I try to hack up a good amount, some post nasal drip, food coming up at the back of my throat, etc. None of that seems to get in the way of my lungs meaning I don't ever really cough, I just struggle to clear my throat here and there if I feel that globus sensation after a meal.
Is it possible or likely to have acid or aspiration in lungs without any wheezing/coughing, or would those symptoms be pretty much guaranteed?
Take in mind Prilosec/Prevacid/Gaviscon/Zantac/Tums, etc. have done nothing for me whatsoever.
