I just had an endoscopy and was diagnosed with mild gastritis. ..can mild gastritis cause constant belching like 10 times an hour...thanks

Yes, gerd or gastritis can cause belching. A scrip for carafate will help address the gastritis, gerd is a whole different monster to tame.

I been on nexium for the past 3 weeks already but the burping is still a constant for me..I really thought it would have stopped by now..I did see that gastritis does cause burping but wasn't to sure if mild gastritis would..

It use to get worse for me when I would lay down, you want to avoid that. Gastritis is gastritis, no matter the how bad it is.....stomach is inflamed.
