Double ph probe test uk

Hi has anybody on here had the double ph probe test in the uk and if so any ideas which hospital performs the test?

Hi Trotters I' m not sure what you mean by a double ph probe test. I had a manometry that used a high resolution camera at Nottingham university hospital. This was my third manometry but because it was h/r the problem was diagnosed. Best wishes Rita

Jo Barlow at Manchester Spire can perform a double probe - however if you are looking for reflux in the throat you can just get a ph study with impedance, or if you look up Ardmore healthcare I believe they are now doing the double probe but with one wire this is a new piece of kit and they will be able to tell you the places that are using it at the moment - this assess reflux and if the acid in your stomach is actually being suppressed.
