Likely, if the famotidine didn't help, the Tums won't either. I went through a bottle of them, and a bottle of Maloxx that I carried in my purse, too. Find out if DGL licorice is safe for your baby. It does a much better job for me than omeprazole, and I don't have to remember it before the problem starts. The lozenges are chewable and convenient. For the nausea, try dried, candied ginger. It works in minutes if not seconds. My o.b. nurse friend said they recommend it for pregnancy nausea, so I wonder why they didn't tell you(?). Molasses (like Grandma's unsulphured) works amazingly well for constipation. Two teaspoons to two tablespoons is the amount that you would use per day (start on the low end), and you can add it to any food/drink.
Hope you feel better soon. Pregnancy should be a good time, not a sick one.
