Reflux or Regurgitation?

What is the difference between reflux and regurgitation?

My consultant who does my manometry says it's regurgitation if you can feel fluid going up and down your chest?

Any comments please?

From Mayo: "Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a chronic digestive disease. GERD occurs when stomach acid or, occasionally, stomach content, flows back into your food pipe (esophagus)."

Whatever you call it, you want to find out what's causing it and how to get it stopped.

They are really the same, I knew mine was a real issue (acid aside) when I would bend over to wake my daughter up and mouth would fill. Also I would often awake in night as I would have bought up liquid into my mouth whilst asleep. Like Alice says get it checked out is best advice.
