Hi, Guys. I have recently been diagnosed by way of an endoscope with Barretts esophagus. My Gastroenterologist has put me on somac for life 40mg twice a day. After a week I am still getting heartburn. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately not everyone responds the same to every drug though it could take a few weeks to help. Sometimes you have to try a few different ones to find what works also.
