Hi Linda
Ive had problems with recurring nausea for the last few years. Im not sure if the NF will do anything for it so have avoided that road, instead trying to handle it with diet and supplements.
You say you feel sick for hours aftet eating, how many are we talking? Is it even after small meals and not taking anything by mouth after? If its lasting several hours even after small meals then you could have gastroparesis.
What sort of food are you eating? You say healthy so i assume lots of veg and fibre. Thats not the best for nausea, i would stick to well cooked foods and lower fibre intake which will speed transit through the stomach. Are you on any medication like PPIs and did they make a difference? If not then it may be worth stopping taking them, as they can also lead to poorer digestion.
I would advise keeping a detailed food and supplement log, that helped me identify which foodsni had to avoid and which were ok. For supplements i take DGL before meals and probiotics. Dietwise i avoid sugar and high fibre, and try to limit fat and protein per meal.
I just saw you had your gall bladder removed. Hve you ever tried carafate? It binds to bile which can get into the stomach post GB removal, which may be causing un the nausea.
