Hi i am a 40 yr old male and have been suffering with stomach issues for over 2yrs. I have had 2 endoscopies and said that i have a small hiatus hernia and small acid reflux. I was prescribed omesoprazole then lansoprazole and now on nexium nothing working. Recently i have been geeting really bad stomach, back, neck, chest pains, blurred vision and headaches also have bad constipation. Everything i eat or drink affects me i have finally been refered to a GI. Can this be GERD? Or could it be HPYLORI? It is really frustrating and affecting my daily life but my GP doesn't seem that bothered. Any suggestions on dealing with this daily

It sounds like GERD. They should have checked for HPylori when they did your endoscopies, I would ask the GI to review your prior test results. The best thing you could do is to monitor your diet. There are a lot of suggestions on these boards but a few foods to avoid are anything spicy , citrus, caeffine, chocolate, carbonated drinks and alcohol. It's really good to keep a food diary to help you pinpoint your trigger foods.

                    My last endoscopy was Feb 2014 and they did find HPYLORI which i had antibiotics for but the pains i am having are a lot worse than before, could this have returned with a vengeanace
