Well I started having heartburn back in December so I decided to go back to my doctor. That did my original Nissan back in May of 2009. of course he had to do some testing and everything in the scopes. well on march 24th he did exploratory with possible redo of the Nissan. Come to find out it was completely undone. So they rewrapped it and they tacked it. they said everything went well with the surgery. Then I stayed overnight. A lot of pain. taking very little pain medication now just over a week out. but I really wonder how tight he did the rap. because I'm not have any heartburn. But whatever I eat is going down just fine..

should I be concerned that the wrap is not tight enough. Or am I just eating the right stuff. I'm going very slow in eating very soft food right now like peaches mashed potatoes. Jello just stuff like that what would be my next thing to add in?
I did try eggs this morning and that was fine.

Did you have a full or partial wrap? I had a full wrap with large hernia repair the same day as your and seems to be on the same track as you. I feel as if I can eat anything but am taking it easy. I'm able to burp and have not had anything get stuck. I guess I should be viewing this as a success since all my problems
(Gerd/excessive belching/cholking) haven't resurfaced. I kept bugging my dr. about my fears of having too tight a wrap and he assured me he done enough of these to know what to do. :) He's done over 1,000 and currently does 2-3 a week.

Mine was a full wrap. And yes I'm also taking it really easy. And yes I think they had to repair the hernia. I will find out for sure next week.on the 8th
I know my Dr does a lot of these he is one of the very few that does them all the time around here.

It is just weird last time I has such a hard time eating for the first few weeks,
I guess I could see this as a successful procedure. And I'm taking it slow.
