I know there is a thread here about
one person's trouble with ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar). I am sorry for that person's pain and discomfort.
But I have been doing a lot of research and reading on it lately, and for me, ACV seems to help. My stomach naturally produces too much acid (according to the docs) and thus my PPI regimen. But recently, after tapering off the PPIs, I have been drinking very diluted ACV and I honestly think there is something to it!
I noticed an almost immediate fix to any chest or stomach discomfort and it seemed to help 'stabilize' my gut and so forth. My stomach felt young again (to put it strangely ). For me it really seemed to stabilize things and allow for my meals to digest smoother and easier. It also resulted in less gas (from both ends ) as well as less heartburn and stomach un-easiness that I often get after a meal.
I'm curious as to your thoughts and experiences with ACV? Thanks!
