Welcome to the forum.
Wow! You had a scary event! I had a good part of my stomach in my chest but thankfully, no volvulus. It takes lots more time to recover when you have such major surgery!
It takes at least 3 months to recover from regular major surgery, so I wonder if you might be pushing the eating a bit. I was on soft foods forever, it seemed like. How are you eating with your tube? Is it there for any purpose?
Did you have a fundoplication or just putting the stomach back in place? If there was no fundo, you might be having a problem with the lower esophageal sphincter. A barium swallow might show if there's any reflux. I'm not at all surprised you're worried about having volvulus again, but it's not likely. Your surgeon probably sewed the stomach firmly in place.
Since we're not doctors, we can't give you real diagnostic help, so I would recommend you call your doctor any time you are concerned.
