Welcome to the forum.
Are you seeing a gastroenterologist? He would be able to tell you what you need for your particular situation. Are you taking anything now?
We're not doctors, just patients. With reflux, each person is very different as to what medicines or treatment works for them.
There's nothing you can just take that will keep acid out of your esophagus if you have a bad lower esophageal sphincter (LES). Acid reducers, Zantac, PPIs, etc., may keep the stomach non-acid, but they don't stop reflux, just keep the stuff from irritating the esophagus, hopefully.
Especially since you know you have damage, please refer to your doctor. We do care, so keep in touch.
Best wishes.
