Hi I had my first fundo performed a year ago on nhs and I realised pretty quickly it hadn't worked. The surgeon who performed op was adamant that there was no way it hadn't work. Cut a long story short after paying privately for second opinion, bravo capsule and luckily impedance test on nhs it was decided I need a redo. As I was seeing surgeon privately i think he assumed I would be having op performed privately and if I could afford 10k to self fund I would but I can't so he has reffered me back to nhs albeit under a different health authority as he is out of my area. I'm still waiting to have a date after being reffered in March but I guess that's NHS. I'm just grateful they are willing to redo. In my experience it has been a battle to get anyone to take my word that I'm still experiencing symptoms and refer for tests but I preservered. The fact that reflux is affecting my airways is a big driving force behind me getting the redo. You may need to do what I did and pay privately for an initial consultation for second opinion and take from there. Good luck.
