Yes, I have the exact same symptoms. Except that it dominated most of my life (at the age of 5). I would have constant nausea and stomach aches/cramps/spasms all night long. I was out of school a lot due to these GI issues. When I reached High School age, the symptoms suddenly went away and I was finally living like a normal girl for 5 years. Then, when I reached University age, my stomach problems came back to haunt me. I'd get stomach cramps/spasms, indigestion, nausea, constipation and diarrhea on/off. I thought that it was stress due to all the homework and exams I got. However, the problems didn't disappear again like it suddenly did in High School.
Currently, I get nausea and a trigger-happy gag reflex. I also get unusual chills in the body. It's more like a nervous feeling and I would get lightheaded and my heart would be racing as if I actually ran the
marathon.
Since you're allergic to anti-nausea meds, I'd suggest you drink ginger tea and add some honey to it (honey has anti-inflammatory properties, which is good for GERD). Ginger candies or real ginger slices also work wonders against nausea. Don't chew the candies or slices so fast. Just nibble on them. It'll help you a lot when you feel queasy.
I hope you feel better soon and don't forget that you're not alone!
