What happens if you vomit following a tif?

Anyone know if it is possible to vomit after a tif has healed? i never asked the surgeon this at our consult. I just read a post on a GERD forum from someone who got a stomach virus a year after her procedure. She said her procedure came undone after being sick and vomiting. I could see how this could happen, but I haven't seen anything written about that as a complication after surgery.I don't know how you could prevent ever getting a stomach virus for the rest of your life.Maybe this was an unfortunate situation?Any thoughts are appreciated.
