LPR Relapse 6-months post Nissen?

Hey folks,

I discovered this forum while struggling with LPR 2013-2014. I had Nissen in Feb 2015. At first, my LPR was completely resolved. But in the last couple of weeks, I partially regained the ability to burp--something my surgeon said I would never do again. Soon thereafter, my LPR symptoms returned.

I can tell my wrap is still intact because swallowing is more difficult than pre-op. My guess is that swelling has finally gone down, making the wrap less tight than it used to be.

My questions for you:

Has anyone had Nissen for LPR? Is it normal to have couple of bouts of horseness a year even after surgery? What steps can I take to reduce this? Any other thoughts?
