Upper Stomach Pain

Okay so for about a week I have been having stomach pains and they have been usually above my belly button with the worst of the pain being under my breasts inbetween my rib cage. then it radiated around my right ribs to my back, I went to the urgent care last Sunday and they gave me a gi cocktail and a rx for prilosec. I tried to tell them the gi cocktail did not really work as I was still having pains (it only made me a bit woozy) she sugested i take the prilosec and see how i felt. She diagnosed me with stomach pain. .. which i already knew i had.. so i dont like pills and did not want to take the prilosec so I went and saw my Primary Dr. she thought I had acute pancreatitis as my lipase was 30 over. long story short went and had more labs and an ultrasound. my galbladder was normal and so was my bile duct. I started taking the prilosec and still have mild pains between my ribs and it still goes around to my back. I dont think it was from acid but I was wondering if i could maybe see what other people thought. I sent in a stool sample so I will get the results this week, if the pain persists maybe I would have to go for an egd. Thank You.
