hello, there 17 weeks tomorrow for me. 1 month out, i was allowed, to ride my recumbent bike and slowly regain my cardio. at week 14, i added my elliptical trainer. at week 16, i was given the OK to start strength training. on my bowflex, i start at 30 lbs each arm for 15- 20 reps and work up to 60 lbs, over 4 sets. i dumbell curls and shoulders presses. i was told to build up slowly, and key word not to strain. before this surgery, i was very into a lifetime, of martial arts and fitness. so i have had to regroup. oh fyi when you start back, it will feel very different. so pay attention to your body, and check with your surgeon, before starting. good luck.
