Pain one month post op

Are you sure that it's not trapped gas? Have you been able to do much as far as walking and/or taking anti-gas medication? I would definitely talk to your surgeon and express your concerns. I did not experience pain such as yours, but I was exhausted and missed two months of work and eventually went back half days to start. Everyone is different, but I think you should contact your doctor.

Yes I am exactly 4 weeks post op also and was about to post about stomach pains also. I am still on soft food and meant to be transitioning to slow cooker sort of meals but I get a stomach ache after it so I guess that means I am not ready for it despite chewing well and having small meals. Back to soup and puree. When I eat I don't seem to get pain around my wrap which people talk about but more a sore stomach. I am on de gas already so not sure if it is gas. Is that the sort of pain you are experiencing?

at 1 year post op. i still experience chest tightness, and a sensitive stomach. i had a ct scan, to look at issued related to this surgery. and as everyone, is different and heals differently. there is the dreaded, new normal we all have to seek. the surgery has helped me, but what i know now is, nobody walks away from this clean. so hang in there.

I'm still having some gerd/lpr symptoms too.
