nausea and gagging

for those who had fundoplication how long did it take for the nausea and gagging to go away? It's been 127 days since my fundo and hiatal hernia repair and i still wake up in the morning with nausea, which i can treat with zofran; but the gagging effect still comes on out of the blue anytime. ..thank you... kozlo

For some people, it never completely goes away. It's been three years for me and I still get bouts of nausea and gagging and always keep a prescription of Zofran handy. If this is something that you are still suffering from frequently, I'd contact your surgeon for suggestions.
