Is Zantac constipating?

Simple question: is Zantac or its generic constipating? I switched from omeprazole to generic Zantac and I. Can't. Poop. Maybe a little, but I have to strain. I started metamucil. I've changed my diet to be more low-acid too. Maybe that's it, but I'm going crazy.

There is reason to believe that Zantac can cause constipation. By limiting the acid in your stomach with Zantac you could delay gastric emptying which could, in turn, interfere with the later stages of digestion and elimination.

I had significant constipation on PPIs so it stands to reason that Zantac could cause the same effect. Stomach acid is necessary for proper digestion.
