Liquids or reflux stuck in the esophagus after a NF Redo

NF Redo - 27.09.17

I always have had the feeling that there is some liquid stuck in my esophagus.

What to do, when it seems like the food digests in the esophagus? I always have a lump of liquid or something in my esophagus. I also sometimes get left overs back in my mouth, so i suppose the digestion is not as it should be.

It's still pretty early after your op so it's possibly still all swollen? Are you eating sensibly, soft foods etc? If you can live with it I'd wait a few weeks to see if it settles down. After my op it took about 2 months before eating/drinking was normal, it was v tight. If you can't put up with it to see how it pans out over time you need to go and see the surgeon and have tests to see what's going on.
