Hi guys/gals,
I'm having a rough time these last few months. I smoke cigarettes and drink maybe once or twice a year on occasion. For the last few months, I've been waking up extremely nauseous within minutes of getting out of bed.
If I don't eat anything, I become extremely weak and dizzy and feel lethargic. If I do eat, about
15 minutes after finishing I begin to get extremely foggy headed, I get extremely tired in the afternoon and my breathing feels a bit labored. I also get mild shakes or a tremor type of feeling. Sometimes I get what feels like heart palpitations and feel extremely weak and wobbly on my feet. The best way I can describe this feeling is that by digestion steals all of my blood supply and the rest of my organs feels on the verge of shutting down. I have to try to remain calm and conscious all while trying not to puke. I also began to belch tons of air or gas which after belching maybe 100 times seems to help calm the symptoms a bit but they still persist for at least an hour or two. This happens no matter when or what I eat, large or small meals, it's all the same result. My bowel movement are like frozen yogurt and smell foul. Shortly after eating I also sometimes clear my throat and have this rubber cement like clear gel like sticky phlegm. Last week my lonely neighbor asked me if I'd hang out with him and BBQ for his B-day and have a few beers. I had 3 beers and plenty of water over about
4 hours. The next day, I awoke with the worst hangover that lasted nearly 3-4 days. I have no idea what's going on, blood work is all normal, heart checks out fine ect. Doctors have no idea. Can any of you with GERD relate? Any ideas or suggestions?
