Rumination Syndrome Nissen surgery experiences

My daughter is planning to have Nissen Fundoplication surgery soon to treat her rumination syndrome. I have seen many post s regarding Nissen surgery and GERD but would like to see if anyone has experience with Nissen surgery and treating their rumination syndrome. It is a rare syndrome so I am hopeful there are a few people on the forum that can share their experience. Our main interest is whether the surgery eliminated the rumination syndrome and your experience post surgery with recovery, diet, etc. We have tried numerous treatments for her rumination syndrome and surgery is looking like a last option. I appreciate any stories people can share. Thank you!
