Need advice:
*Tongue is yellow again
*A lot of pain
*Acidic taste strong

I need to know what I should do or if this is a normal incident for anyone as they heal? Should I goto the hospital or just wait to call my surgeon on Monday?

You are writing two days post surgery. I had surgery on 11/27 and two days later I didn't feel well either. I had pain in my shoulder and the incisions were sore. I used a heating pad on my shoulder and by the fourth or fifth day that pain was gone. I think feeling miserable the first few days is pretty standard.

I don't know anything about marijuana so can't help you there. The only thing I took was two tylenol on day 3 because I had belly pain.

If you're still having problems on Monday, call your doctor.

You are only a few days post-surgery, please don't expect too much. What you are experiencing is quite common. As far as the medical marijuana, please speak to your surgeon. It might be something that he doesn't want you to resume so soon.

can you break the wrap easily cause i was coughing and puked during all this plus hiccuped. Now stuff is calming down those motions
*can it be re done? What tests would i need to ask for because it went on for 2 days the extreme pain the heaving/coughing/hiccups i dont know what to think

I had a cold during the first two weeks of my recovery and it felt like I was coughing up a lung. I saw the surgeon at 2 1/2 weeks and he said that was no problem. I guess it does take quite a bit to undo things. I don't know about you, but I'm three weeks and 2 days post surgery and feel really good. I've started exercising again (surgeon approved) and am eating an almost normal diet. I consume a little less and eat slower but other than that, it's pretty much the same as before surgery.

I have two ablations ahead of me to get rid of the Barrett's and that will hopefully be it except monitoring.

I will be seeing him in jan cause I kind of jst cracked my chest, wasnt thinking. I dont know what to look for cause i can burp, air does get stuck on swallows still, wouldn't that mean the wrap was intact? Sore from cracking my chest
