Weights/Demolition work after fundoplication

How long did it take for anyone to be able to get back to heavy weights (work) I want to go back into demolition work but not sure what would happen or if I should change that profession. Anyone in similar moments of life as me or been through it?

These are questions you should be discussing with your surgeon. I have read here of a weight restriction following surgery, however, I do not know if it is permanent.
