Has anyone heard about Probiotics for heartburn

I've tried a few different types of probiotics. The people who make them warn you that taking to many to fast could cause you to feel sick. They cause your body to clean the toxins out so you need to start slow on them so you don't feel really sick.

I found if I tried to up my amount of them to fast my heartburn/upset stomache got worse, but if I took them slow and steady they helped a bit. Now that I stopped taking the probiotics for a week my heartburn is worse than ever! I really need to get back on them. I hope this helps a little, good luck!

they have these acidolphous pearls from the health food store that are supposed to help your GI tract.

i got bloating and gas from them

now i am in a D flare and i think the culprit is AGAIN c dificle from last yr.

will proablay have to take flagyl again for 4 weeks yech

I've been taking a probiotic for almost 2 weeks now and feel good. I started out just taking one pill a day and now I take 2. Everyone is different in how they respond to them. I have IBS-D as well as GERD and it seems to be helping me.
