Nissen funduplication redo surgery

Dear SharonZ,
I had nissen funduplication surgery for hiatal hernia in 2018. Ever since the pain just reduced to a very small extent. Until now the pain is there all the time, throat pain, excessive flatulence, chest burning, pain under the ribs, eye pain, etc...Looking for a redo surgery. Would you help me please finding an experienced surgeon for a redo surgery?

The best thing is to check the teaching hospitals in the area. You can also ask your gastro doctor for recommendations, as I'm assuming that you don't want the same surgeon for the redo. Unfortunately I don't feel comfortable helping you find a new surgeon, that's something that's personal and unique to your particular situation.
