More specifically I have been doing an experiment,
my irritation is felt approx 2-3 hours after eating a meal..
even being on the PPI.. I still get a "salty" irritating feeling.
When the stomch is compressing in such a fashion that
digested material is being "pushed" into the small intestine,
I bieleve that it is also getting pushed against the LES.
I decided to eat Fiber during this mark of time because I bieleve
that the added fiber will give the liquids something to adhere
too.. and since the stomach is emptying.. will give some
"mass" to the liquids. to help them go down instead of up.
It doesn't matter if the fiber gets digested... it's simply
a mechanical structure that that the liquids will soak up into.
Since the composition of the material is niether FAT nor
Protein nor Carbohydrates
(although it has a little bit, it would be neglible and The stomach won't
"See" it and try to digest it... but will pass it on.)
So I have decided to eat a couple of clumps of spinach slowly
over that two hour period, to see if it helps.
I figure Brocolli would do the same thing.. or anything else
thats not easily digested.. and leafy in nature... with allot of surface area.
What do you think?
