Making Improvements

It's been a couple days since I last found myself in the ER and I've been put on a regimen of using crushed Carafate slurries before meals and sleep to protect what appears to be an esophagus damaged by abrasive foods/pills from being aggravated. This combined with a diet consisting purely of Boost protein drinks for the next week or so have done wonders for my pain and I finally feel a sense of relief lifting from my horrible depression of a few days ago. Thanks to everyone who has helped me get this far, and here's hoping I can continue to improve over time.

So happy to hear you have relief and your spirits are good...I know that our bodies can heal and improve if we find the right thing that works for each of us...we all need the encouragement from everyone on this forum...it's our lifeline to hope...
