I am learning that stress can do all kinds of wacky things to your body. You might not be aware that you are stress, you just start getting all these symptoms.
I just started reading John E. Sarno book and see if that changes things.
OH, I was very aware of the stress that I was under in the summer. I didn't eat a thing during a grieving time. And this is what caused my GERD (NOT EATING). I think, however, that now I am in a long recovery period. When I go to yoga, the beach, laugh, I still have the GERD. And, people around me don't even know that I have it. I try to relax as much as I can...I think that in my case, not eating at all will take a while to recover from (even when I relax...)...
